Our Food

With a reputation for traditional, hearty home-cooked food David and Colleen have worked hard to produce their, ever changing menu, from their famous ‘Award Winning Homemade Pies’ to the ‘Signature Burger Menu’ they pride themselves on great tasting dishes lovingly made to give people the opportunity to relax and enjoy a meal in beautiful surroundings. The menu is always varied and seasonal with local suppliers such as Grasmere Farms and Fenstanton Butchers used to ensure a unique feel to the dishes that are all lovingly made by Colleen in the kitchen.

They are also known for their varied and very well received, Vegetarian and Vegan options, as well as Gluten Free dishes. For those of you who have never visited the Elsworth Poacher before we always recommend booking in advance as we only have eight tables and prioritise bookings, also we do require pre-orders on all tables of six and above due to the size of our kitchen.
